Southern Influence on EKKO

If you have shopped with EKKO before you have probably heard us refer to our roots. EKKO Candle Co. is based in Nashville, TN, but I actually grew up in the south myself, which is where much of the inspiration for the brand comes from. I often get asked what "EKKO" means, and to put it simply, it is to bring back the "echoes of your past". The scents my team and I create are not only based on our fond memories, but they are made to evoke your sweet memories as well.

What do you think of when someone says "home"? Picking tomatoes in your grandmother's garden, or perhaps, cozied up by the fire in the winter, or maybe you think of a glass of your favorite bourbon. Everyone may have a different idea of home, but at the end of the day it is a place of warmth and love, which is what lead me to begin creating candles four years ago. Each EKKO scent has some sort of southern-inspired twist to it, making our candles remind you of home.
